When I bought my Bushnell "Glasses On" binoculars I found that the sunlight shines in behind my glasses and spoils the "seeing".
I developed the eyeshade or sun shield, illustrated above, to solve this problem. It also keeps out the wind to prevent it making my eyes water. I hope that if I ever drop the binoculars again the shield may also protect the delicate eyepiece focus mechanism if they land that way round.
If anyone wants details of how I constructed the shield, they are here. But I don't intend to build one for anyone else; it is strictly a DIY deal!
