Croatia (near Split) June & July 2005

We were especially proud that we sailed up the river to the Skradin marina (the easterly extreme) without using the engine at all; and then (unlike our previous visit) back downstream under sail too! If you zoom in using Google Earth on the northern end of the track file below you will be able to see the tacking that we had to do when going downstream. Zooming in enormously on the extreme westerly corner will show where we lost the bow anchor and spent some time the next day trying, unsuccessfully, trying to recover it!
